What Propose does
Propose runs asynchronous team decisions in Slack using the Core Protocols Decider and Resolution. Its defining rule: a proposal carries only when every objection is resolved — never by majority.
How to install
- Click Add to Slack on the home page
(or visit
/slack/install) and approve the requested permissions. - Invite
@Proposeto the channels you'll decide in.
How decisions work
- Propose: run
/propose, write one concise, actionable item, pick the audience and the voting window. - Vote: 👍 Yes / ✋ Support-it / 👎 No. Ballots are hidden until the proposal closes, then named.
- Resolve: a No opens Resolution — "what will it take to get you in?" The proposer can adopt the answer as an amendment (an Eye Check notifies voters; votes stand unless changed).
- Carry: the proposal carries only when there are zero standing objections; otherwise it enters a bounded Resolution Grace and then auto-withdraws. There is no vote-count path past a standing No.
